This weekend marked the celebration weekend for my upcoming 40th birthday on May 28th. It has long been a tradition of my cousin and I to celebrate our birthdays on Memorial Day weekend as most years they fall on one of the weekend days.
The celebration was held at Mermaid Winery and attended by 20 of my closest friends. Other than friends and the wine, the highlight of the evening was the unveiling of my birthday cake. My cake was created by Gourmet Bake Shoppe and was absolutely delicious! This is the second year that they have created my custom cake and they haven’t disappointed as of yet!
