Thanksgiving is Thursday and I admittedly have not started my meal shopping. Since I’m working from home today, I decided to spend my morning designing my own holiday table. After an hour of gathering items, painting small pumpkins and creating personalized seating cards/thank you notes – Voila! Our table is ready!
Yesterday, we created memories with our client Eye Deux. Eye Deux has private studios that specialize in eyelash enhancements(semi-permanent eyelash extensions and clusters), eyebrow extensions and permanent makeup. They have TWO locations-Virginia Beach and Yorktown, VA. We celebrated the grand opening of the Yorktown studio yesterday.
The Grand Opening event consisted of an official ribbon-cutting ceremony that was officiated by the York County Office of Economic Development, refreshments and raffles. Here are some photos that were captured by photographer, Eric Gillespie, of the event.
So, it’s been a while since we have posted to our blog and we sincerely regret it. I have been busy with not only business, but also with work/life balance. Now that things are slowing down a tad, I wanted to bring you all to speed on what we have been up to for the past few months.
The month of May was a very month for us as we had events every single weekend. We posted some of the events, but the one that we did not share was the Bam Bam’s Spring Jam. This is the Kam Cares Foundation’s annual fundraising weekend. The weekend consisted of a cocktail reception/silent auction, annual cookout and Celebrity Basketball game. Here’s some photos from the cocktail reception. Visit our site for more photos from the weekend.
Following Kam’s event,we the had the opportunity to assist the lovely Kelli Davis ( owner of the KBD Group) and her beau Terry Webb (Alice Mae’s and The Broadway) join in marital bliss. The nuptials were held at the Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA) in Virginia Beach.
As you know, this past Saturday’s date was 12/13/14. This date is unique as it is the last sequential date this century. More importantly, this date is special because we helped Pastor Ben Fitzgerald III and the former Rhonda Ellis, Ph.D join into holy matrimony before 500 of their closest family members, friends and colleagues.
The wedding and reception were held at Tabernacle Christian Center in Suffolk, VA. The sanctuary and facility are both gorgeous. Some of my favorite elements of the day where the signing of the Ketubah and the cake which was provided by Silver Spoon Bakery. Take a look at some of the candid shots I was able to capture from this special day.
