This weekend we completed our last event for the 2015 year. It was the “Dancing Thru the Decades” 5 year Anniversary Party for Norfolk Vice-Mayor Angelia Williams-Graves. The party celebrated Mrs. Williams-Graves’ five years on Norfolk’s city council.
The event was held at the Wells Fargo Center in Norfolk which was very convenient for me since my office is in the same building. The dance party was held on the 20th floor of the building which is an unique venue space as it has not been built out as of yet. Bare, concreted, open space that is adorned by the beautiful backdrop of our lovely city.
Here’s some quick photos that I snapped at the event along with some professional photos that were captured by McGirt Photography. Thank you also to the other vendors that made this event possible: Bite Restaurant, Astro Entertainment and Acclaimed Event Rentals.
So, it’s been a while since we have posted to our blog and we sincerely regret it. I have been busy with not only business, but also with work/life balance. Now that things are slowing down a tad, I wanted to bring you all to speed on what we have been up to for the past few months.
The month of May was a very month for us as we had events every single weekend. We posted some of the events, but the one that we did not share was the Bam Bam’s Spring Jam. This is the Kam Cares Foundation’s annual fundraising weekend. The weekend consisted of a cocktail reception/silent auction, annual cookout and Celebrity Basketball game. Here’s some photos from the cocktail reception. Visit our site for more photos from the weekend.
Following Kam’s event,we the had the opportunity to assist the lovely Kelli Davis ( owner of the KBD Group) and her beau Terry Webb (Alice Mae’s and The Broadway) join in marital bliss. The nuptials were held at the Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA) in Virginia Beach.
This weekend, we are amped to help present Bam Bam’s Spring Jam. The weekend of events will support the Kam Cares Foundation which was founded by Seattle Seahawks player and Virginia native Kam Chancellor. Instead of me rambling, just view the flyers below and visit www.KamCaresFoundation.org for more information and to purchase tickets!!!
We had the pleasure of working with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia & Eastern Shore again this year for the Taste of Hampton Roads event. This is the premier annual fundraiser for the organization that aids in fighting hunger in the Hampton Roads community. This year’s theme was Fabulous Foodies Fighting Hunger.
Thanks to the generous support of over 38 restaurants and caterers along with numerous sponsors, this year’s event raised over $20,000. Please take a look at some photos of this year’s event.
Presented by the Urban League of Hampton Roads Young Professionals and Men for Hope. It’s a NYE party with a purpose! It’s all about class, culture and community service. A portion of the proceeds will benefit single mothers in the Hampton Roads community!

Two weeks ago we had the honor of presenting the 2014 Hope Celebrity Weekend Extravaganza: Mardi Gras in Hampton Roads. The event is an annual fundraiser that is hosted by Still Hope Foundation, Inc. The weekend was held at multiple venues from September 19-21, 2014 and played host to many celebrities within the fields of television, film, NBA, NFL and MLB (oh and of course all of our local celebrities). I’m going to share some quick photos from the weekend.
The weekend was preluded by the Hope Sponsor Reception and Women in Excellence Awards ceremony that was co-presented by Suntrust Bank.
The event was held at Nauticus.
The official start of the weekend’s activities was the Hope Masquerade Ball which was held at the Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel.
Saturday’s event consisted of the Hope Celebrity Casino Night which was held at Nauticus and the USS Wisconsin.
Unfortunately, the Hope Celebrity Golf Tournament had to be cancelled due to the weather, but we were still able to get out golfers together to enjoy each other at a private reception which was held at our host hotel- Norfolk Waterside Marriott.
The finale of the weekend was the Hope Jazz Concert which was hosted by Lamman Rucker and featured Jeffrey Osbourne, Rick Braun, Norman Brown, Gerald Albright and Gregg Karukus. Comedian Alex Scott also graced the stage with his comedic offerings.
