Last evening I attended a dinner party at my friend Elise’s home. It was presented by my friends Regina and Olafur who are in the process of writing a book about international cuisine. Olafur, or Oli, as we call him is a chef from Sweden that alternates his time between Sweden, Iceland and the United States. Both he and Regina did an excellent job at presenting the various cuisines. The dinner menu included Riz Gras (Burkina Faso), Kavarma (Bulgaria), Poutine (Canada), Paella Valenciana (Spain), and Salteñas (Bolivia). All of the food was GREAT as well as the attending guests.
